New DotA 6.49, New Items
New version, vastly improved but theHost and I only tried the map once. Cheaper cost for certain items, some balancing of heroes, and N’aix was re-made. The new N’aix is better than before. The old N’aix should be returned though as he wasn’t a bad hero to begin with.
We tested out the new items and here’s the stats after the jump:

I was on the losing team. My team had already fed the other team to the point where the game was over. The Sentinels were Rhasta, Phantom Lancer, Sniper, Razor, and Drow. Drow left early after feeding. The Scourge were Luna, PitLord, Spiritbreaker, Templar Assasin, and Tauren. Luna lagged out just a short while after Drow. Thank goodness because Luna was running around spamming her ultimate so it was nice to not deal with that. The feeders on the Sentinels were Rhasta, Drow, and Sniper. Razor was actually decent, but couldn’t do much against a fed team. I also tried very hard to stay alive and not feed. By the time the game was over, my score was 2-2, which isn’t too bad when dark-green’s score was 15-1 or something.

Summary: Brag, brag, brag. I would’ve kicked orange but by then the game was already soured.

If you’re completely new, play it by yourself. Understand how the game flows and get used to how items work.
Then forget how the game flows and go into a pub (public) game. Plenty of custom games with the word “DOTA” in them.

Seriously, man. Kids Players will just shout “NO DL,” “boot,” “kick,” anything to get that downloading player out. Usually it’s not worth the time to let them download. Even if they’re good. Even if you don’t know the guy yelling “KICK” sucks royal ass.
